Clarity

Clarity for Claude and ChatGPT

Connect Clarity to Claude or ChatGPT and your assistant can search what you have saved, then answer with your own cards and their sources.

What Clarity is

Clarity is an iPhone and iPad app that keeps what you save. Each link you save is read once and turned into a short card: a title, the main claim, suggested steps, topics and the source link. Clarity also records how cards relate to each other, for example when two cards disagree, when one repeats another, or when one replaces another. When you connect an assistant, it reads those cards. It does not see the files, images and voice notes that stay on your device.

What you need

Connect

  1. In your assistant, open Connectors, search for Clarity and choose Connect.
  2. In the Clarity app, tap ••• at the top of the canvas, then Connect your AI.
  3. Choose Claude or ChatGPT. Clarity shows an 8-character code that works for 10 minutes.
  4. Type the code into the page your assistant opens, then approve.

Then ask something you have saved, such as what you have saved about a topic, and the assistant looks in Clarity before it answers.

What the assistant can do

Clarity gives the assistant these tools. Each one is named here as your assistant shows it.

Saved pages are other people's writing. Clarity tells the assistant to treat anything written inside a card as content to read, not as instructions.

Disconnect

In the Clarity app, tap ••• at the top of the canvas, then Connect your AI, then Advanced, then Disconnect all assistants. This ends every Claude and ChatGPT connection to your library at once.

Privacy and support

Read the privacy policy and terms of use for what an assistant can read, how long things are kept and how to delete them.
